Present Simple/Теперішній неозначений час

вживай у таких випадках:

1.    Коли хочеш розповісти про те, що робиш постійно (кожного дня, кожного тижня і под.), тобто про дії, які є для тебе звичними.

I wash my face every day.

2.    Коли хочеш розповісти про якісь явища природи, або факти, які ти не в змозі змінити, або істину.

Water boils at 100 degrees.

3.    Коли говориш про дію, яка відбувається взагалі.

    I study at school.

У реченні, для позначення цього граматичного часу, часто вживаються такі слова-маркери:

• Every day – кожного дня
• Every week – кожного тижня
• Every year – кожного року
• Usually - зазвичай
• Always -завжди
• Often - часто
• on Mondays - по понеділках…

Звичайний характер дії у Present Simple часто підкреслюється прислівниками: usually, often, seldom, always, які у реченні займають місце між підметом та смисловим дієсловом.

I always wake up at 7.00. — Я завжди прокидаюся о сьомій.

We sometimes go sailing at weekends. — Інколи ми здійснюємо морські прогулянки на вихідних.

УВАГА!

Дієслово to be вживається перед прислівником:

I am always late for school. — Я завжди запізнююся до школи.

He's never at home when I call. — Його ніколи немає вдома, коли я телефоную.
